Big Green Egg platter

Greetings! Does anyone know if the Big Green Egg oval platter is ovensafe? There are no marking to indicate if it is dishwasher safe, microwave safe or oven safe. i inquired to customer service, but haven't received an answer yet. I am giving it to my husband for his birthday tomorrow and was wondering! Thanks.

Not sure but we wash ours by hand because it is soo heavy. We love ours.

I don't know the answers but I treat ours with TLC! Hand wash, never put it in the oven or MW, and NEVER slice on it. More like a holy grail piece to me! Fine to serve your egged foods on!

I hand wash mine too, because of the size and weight. I have put it in the oven at 200, just to keep things warm.

I am not sure how hot you would want to get it, but I have never seen a ceramic what would not be oven safe.

I think it is. I heat mine up in the oven and put cooks on a nice warm plate to keep them warm.. I think it is porcelain and thus resists chips too. Never heated above 200F though. Usually just heat it to 175.
