Has anyone seen or have any ideas regarding a double "V rack" that would fit in a large BGE? My wife and I are hooked on pork tenderloins and would like to cook two or more at the same time.[p]Tired Jim

  • Tired Jim,[p]Set up a grid extender, and you can place more than 2 tenderloins on the top grid to achieve the same effect.[p]-smokeydrew

    Tired Jim,
I didn't even know that tenderloins were supposed to be elevated! I did two last night. These are fairly skinny--maybe 2" diameter at the thick end, and come packaged in pairs. [p]I take them out of thier cryo packaging, rub each with a little olive oil and then some seasoning rub of the day. Last night it was DP Tsunami Spin on both--that's what's left until my next DP order arrives. I hadn't tried TS on tenderloins before and it was really tasty.[p]They go on at 350° dome, direct at standard grid height. You could put six of them on there; maybe more. They do not burn if you flip every 10 minutes. They cook in 20-30 minutes and you have to watch their internal temp closely since it goes pretty fast. Remote thermometer is invaluable, here. I pull them off at about 145° and let them rest for just a few minutes.[p]Very juicy, fork-tender and quick. We do these about one/week.[p]Just something different to try if you want a larger quantity...good luck.

  • Thanks for the info. We'll try the next ones direct on the grill.
