Egg Under Roof: Question

Anyone have any pics of the flame plume at night during a high heat sear or clean? I have a brand new MBGE that i am waiting on the nest for so I havent fired it yet. Its going to live on my balcony which is concrete coated with a nonslip paint. Im now wondering if i am going to have to worry about igniting the balcony above me! From what i have read here it should not be a problem but id live to see a pic. Ill let you all know what happens, which hopefully will be tomorrow!

I have 2 large eggs and I have seen flames shooting out about 16 inches. I don't know how low your ceiling is and how far your egg is under your ceiling but, I cook under my carport with a vinyl ceiling with about 57 inches from top of egg to ceiling. While I haven't damaged my vinyl ceiling with flames or heat I do have some smoke stains up there. I would say use extreme caution and not walk away from your egg and be sure to shut your egg down properly. Tim

That's pretty close to vinyl. :pinch: If you are prepping for a high temp cook and leave it alone for too long, you'll have a purple thruster rocket turning your soffits into liquid and then fire.
