<p />above are a couple sirloin venison steaks that came up to room temp with a little seasoning thanks to toyman[p]16377696.jpg[p]next i put the inverted abt rack on the top grid losded with lump with a couple inches worth of lump down on the regular grate. i just lit the lump on the top and let the falling ash lite the lump below.[p]c225a626.jpg[p]after bout a minute and a half, per side i moved em off to the main grid, findin out that, that close to the coals you have a tendency to overcook or burn the meat. just so you know dome temp was only about 450 when i did the sear.[p]finallygotthesearmarks.jpg[p]now thats what im callin sear marks
