Cleaned and gilled
Roasted
Sliced, then diced, along with the other raws
The Cook -- all on the Large BGE
The Clean Up
Yes, we do have leftovers!!
To be used to make UnPheasant Newberg!!
Ripnem's was so awesome, Ku can't quit talking about it!! But no canned soups to be in our version

Had some at a few restaurants-either too watery ot too lumpy/thick like paste :(
Tarragon really set this homemade version off!!
Was easy to Egg, too. -

We have a winner on the soup contest :laugh:Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Okay, girlfriend, fess up with the measurements. Is that one bowl overflowing with onions? How much butter? How much flower????? I agree with Steve, if it's cold in Salado I vote for this.Judy

Am thinkin' Plano Gathering mite work!
1/2 very large onion
1/4 c flour
1/2 stick butter (used 5 Tbs)
2 cups hot Chicken broth (rinsed roasting pan with some of the hot water)
4 cups milk (used 1 cup half and half to empty carton and 3 cups low fat milk)
Plus 2 cups Mexican table cream
White pepper
1 1/2 t tarragon
A whole carton (minus 2 for Friday's dinner) gilled, roasted with S&P
