Marinate for chuck roast???

Tomorrow, I plan to slow cook one of the chuck roasts that I have been reading about here lately (assuming the ice doesn't cover us up too badly here North of Atlanta). I was going to just coat it nicely with Cow Lick and some extra Kosher salt, but should I marinate or inject this thing overnight for added flavor?[p]Thanks,[p]Scott
