...and exactlly how did you make this? We gonna have to have some ingredients here son. Looks to good to pass up. This would be great to make at the up-coming Texas Eggfest. I've been looking for this very thing to fix at he event. OK, explain?

OK,
So I stole YB's Vidalla onions and sour cream out of his pie recipe. Got inpired by Woodoggies peperperreped..ah..pork pie. Married them together, divorced a couple of things and adopted others came up with this.[p]Joy of cooking - cream cheese pastry dough receipe.
Pre baked slightly in oven prior to adding filling.[p]Per. Woo
Cooked up 6-8 slices of bacon for pie topping.[p]Per. YB
Carmalized a bunch of Vidalla onions, in butter, think threw in a little garlic and some bacon drippings.[p]Per. Woo
Chopped up a couple of lbs. of pulled pork.[p]Per. Colonel..started happy hour and started winging it.[p]But, threw chopped pulled pork in skillet, browned it up a bit.
Added - grilled sweet red peppers, skins removed and chopped up. you know enough that looks just right.
Added - 5-6oz philly cream cheese, and as per Woo and YB, couple of dollops of sour cream. mixed it unitl it was almost the consitancy of pate.?[p]Take, iron skillet with pastry.
Add - bottom layer of pork mix.
Add - layer of vidallia onions.
Add - 1 beaten smooth egg, poured over onions
Add - cheddar cheese or whatever over egg mixture.[p]Repeat - unit pie is full.
Top pie with little more cheese and bacon pieces.[p]Baked on egg, indirect @375* for about an hour.[p]Cooled and flipped it out of the pan![p]If i can get the piece I'm holding for Mad Max over to his place, I may be able to get an actual forum dwellers affirmation on eatability![p]Good luck!
