This was my first try at ribs on the egg. Used to steam the ribs and then sauce and throw on the gasser. Got my large in October so I figured it was time to try some ribs. Followed the recipe to a T and with the exception of a lump issue (Kroger brand)they turned out great.

They look pretty good Richard. Great job. :P

Nice job. You're well on your way!

Looking good. Try cooking them flat next time with the bone side down. You really only need to use a rack if you need to put them on the side to fit a bunch in.

Very nice. Isn't it easy? Looks like they came out just right.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

You do know that half of the members here went looking for a fainting couch when they read that, don't you? :P -
You have a good point . I learned the steam thing years ago from a friend. I should have known not to take pointers from a man who only eats "well done" meat :ermm:

We'll if you've had ribs at a restaurant I suspect you've had steamed ribs before at least once.

Used to order ribs all the time, but like everything else, once I've had it on the egg nothing will compare. We have almost totally quit eating out. Cant say that we are saving any money, but we sure are eatin' good :woohoo:

That's the sad thing. I can't tell you how many supposedly good rib joints I've tried, only to bite into their product and instantly know it's been steamed into mush.
