For the superbowl some people are coming over, so i was going to do 3 racks and and some moink balls. Ive been out trying to mock it up and im having issues getting just 3 racks of ribs to fit. All i have is the one grid and platesetter.
Them touching will increse cooking time correct?
Will cutting the ribs in half have any ill results?

What if you cut the ribs in half, won't hurt anything, and start them early cook them and place in foil and cooler and then the moink balls and then serve together or do the moink balls first and when ready to serve place in a crock pot with sauce.
-
I was thinking moink balls first, so I could do them and wait on the sauce step until it was the right time?
Only thing im thinking is the my crock pot will already be in use, could I do them in the bed of sauce and in the oven? -
Yes! cover the pan with foil to keep warm.

Awesome thanks for all your help, so just to clarify I cook till bacon crisps, sauce and set the sauce then pull out to be reheated when time is right in the oven?
While i was waiting on replys I threw this together but i think the legs might get in the way. -
I think rolling them is the answer, but I've always wondered about attaching a couple of racks together at the ends with cooking string.... using two loop stitches. this way you would have a larger diameter "ring-o-ribs" and have room in the middle for cooking other stuff.
So measure the length of your racks, and divide that length by 3.14 and that will give you a guess at the diameter of ribs you could have.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
That sir, is a cool idea.

Yea cool method, i like to foil mine so not sure how that would out.

Well, when you do the foil step, do that in the oven...Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery
