Tuscan Strips... anyone?

The wife...(being Itallian)....requested Tuscan steak for last night's dinner.[p]She's in Real Estate, (and sold a large home yesterday)...so...how could the "Chubbster", say no??[p]I started out with a couple of Prime strips....T'Rexed.[p]The secret to this preperation(like most good Itallian rejional dishes)... is using the best,fresh ingreadents you can get!![p]Prior to the rest period I slowly brought up to temp: [p]A good lug of a Tuscan Olive oil.
Some fresh Rosemary off my back porch...(which by the way is NOT in Tuscany!!)
A couple cloves of fresh Garlic...(minced)
The zest of about 1/2 small Lemmon (Meyers.... if you can find'em)[p]Let this infuse utill you pull your Strips off.[p]Halve a few Roma Tomatoes and brush with the Lemmon Oil infusion and grill (with a short hit of rosemary twigs for smoke).[p]Now pour over the finnished Strips...Salt & pepper to taste and rest for another 5 minutes before serving.[p]Drizzel with a GOOD Lemon olive oil....garnish with more fresh rosemary, and Enjoy!![p]P10100092.jpg[p]P10100062.jpg[p]P10100132.jpg[p]I know it's not "Barbecue"....but it made the "Boss" happy!![p]Evans
