DigiQ Ramp Mode

Does anyone use the DigiQ Ramp mode for long cooks? I just got a DigiQ DX, but haven't tried it on a long cook yet.
I'm smoking a pork butt this weekend and, in the past, I've always just manually kept it at 225 and never adjusted. Ramp mode seems kind of pointless to me, but is it worth using?

I don't use the ramp mode on the Q2 or the Stoker. If you are cooking at 225° and you turn the ramp mode on, it kick's in about 30° before target, that is 195°. Your cook is going to be a low & very sloooow cook.

I have a ramp mode on my CyberQ II and I have used it a time or two but, it's not necessarily unless you need to prolong your cook. I simply set it up for the traditional 250F dome cook on butts or what ever and go from there.
