so, esplain please. ..why do you soak your grids?? . . .i just burn the crud off and scrape good with a wire brush? then i do the oil on paper towel thing to season them when i need to. . . am i missing something?

mad max beyond eggdome,[p]Currently, I do the same as you. BUT, I'm a bachelor. I know for a fact some wimmin are a bit squeamish about this technique. I'm just looking toward the future. LOL

Why do you soak the grid?[p]I just use a grill brush while it is hot, and follow that with a towel that I've dipped in Vegatable oil.[p]
