Man that's perfect for the large.
-
Very nice! Now let's see'er in action! :P
-
That looks nice! When you gonna take it for a test run? I did stir fry last night in a cast iron pan. I had the pan really hot, poured some extra virgin olive oil in, I had at least a 3 foot flame shoot up. I did it again just for fun
-
I have a feeling it will be one of my most used CI pieces on the Egg.
-
 I HEAR ya.I gotta get it seasoned.Maybe we'll try it out this weekend.
-
VERY SOON!
-

-
Hoss, I LOVE talking equipment with you!
I have this one:
Only use it for INDOOR pizza, when I get lazy. Fantastic for a thin crust. I never thought of putting it on the Egg. What will it do better than the usual stone setup??????

 :pinch: RuckRow!Aw well it's CI,just blast,reseason and go.That is what I love about CI.It is virtually indestructable.To a point.
-
Hey Hoss what else do you do on that besides pie
-
I have no idea. I'm thinkin if I coat the pan really good with oil before puttin the dough in I will get more of a fried style crust like Deep Dish. Not sure but I can always use it like a griddle or for blackening things.
-
I just got it today.I plan to use it as a griddle,to blacken fish on or anything else I can dream up.
-
Looks pretty interesting, wonder how the crust will be??
GOOD EATS AND GOOD FRIENDS

-
I'm thinking crash hots would be great on it!BJ (Powhatan, VA)

I think you will find that it will have MANY uses on the Egg.
-
Please post some pics asap
-
You could consider seasoning it with some of your fresh LONEY!
-
I will.
-
I agree. It is big enough to make enough whatever to feed a crowd too.
-
I may do that!
-
That's what I was thinking also, works great as a big ole griddle.
-
Hoss,
Mine came today too . -
I think there will be MANY uses for them.
-
Looks great, Hoss. But their website says...
"Oven safe up to 500°F, stovetop safe and grill safe."
Grill safe, but only 500°? Might wanna watch that blackening! :laugh:I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
