How was it? I've seen the Tony Chacheres turduchen at my local Kroger
-
It was O.K. WAY better than I expected.I would do another one,as long as they were on sale.$9.99.I certainly could'nt buy the stuff to make my own for that price.
-
Probably worth it when you want to cook something spur of the moment.
-
It is a coupla hour cook.

It really was BETTER than I expected.I bought the permit at Kroger for $9.99.
-
Mad Max made one.It is a lotta work but his looked FANTASTIC! I would do a homemade one on a whim. You better have plenty of time.
-
The taters and maters would not last long at my house! And do I see a slice of sourdough bread????
-
Yes ma'am.It was too dense.I just pulled my second try outta the oven about 5 minutes ago. Will post results later. The breadcrumbs are what was made out of the first loaf.I cubed it,tossed with olive oil and made sourdough croutons and breadcrumbs .
-
That there is funny...don't care who who are.
-
Nice & fast Hoss. Will have to look it up in the dictionary
-

That thing was 4 lbs. and it was only $10? WOW, they sell the same one at a gourmet market here for $60. Glad you got to try it. It does look like it came out pretty good.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!
3 Large, 1 Small, 1 well-used Mini -
I had Max's turducken lasagna at Waldorf last year. It was one of the best things I ever ate in my life...and the gravy made from duck fat....OMG.

 You know I did'nt show him where they really were!

 I could make a homemade one and grind up some smoked 'Loney to substitute for the sausage. You got me thinkin now e.m.
 -
I'm sure a fresh one would be better but this thing was WAY better than I expected.Kroger had em on sale,$9.99.I may go back and get a few more for the freezer.
