XL Cast Iron grid

I found this today while looking around on the net. Does anyone have an eggsperience with it? I went ahead and ordered it and am looking forward to some serious steaks.

Looks nice you will have to post and tell us how it cooks. My inlaws have an xl, been thinking about a cast iron upgrade for some time now. Too bad they dont make one for the mini.

I bought the XL cast grid from BGE. After seeing this I wish I had waited! BGE grid comes in two halves and is very cumbersome. I'm interested to hear what you have to say about the new grid.

I bought one for my Large and Medium for christmas and have yet to you them yet. Let us know what you think.

I have an XL with the BGE CI grid, two halves. They're a bit heavy and awkward, but do a great job. I rarely use the original grid unless I'm doing a two level cook. I'm sure you'll enjoy the grid's you've ordered, they look easier to move around.

I have this grate for my Large and it does exceptionally well. I have used it for a year and use in almost exclusively.
