He didn't specify WHERE he was checking, did he?[p]Now, it would be a different thing if you had a kid with a low fever and hooked him up with a remote probe so you could sit in the living room and watch TV while you watch his temp go up till it was time to go in there and actually take some decent care of him. That's bad.

Heh, I've got an IR thermometer that I use to check my temperature in my ear if I think I might be sick.[p]I also used it on one of the cats one time because he was sneezing. Had to go check the other cats to get a baseline, they ALL really appreciated it.[p]lol
