Butcher miscommunication = wonderful treat

The grocery store I support has spares on sale for like $1.69 so I figured what the hell. I planned to go to the bar after work yesterday so I planned my dinner. I would get the ribs, trim them, cook the spares the next day and then cook the tips that afternoon so when I got home I would have a snack ready.

Well the butcher misunderstood me when I asked him to cut them st. louis style and save me the tips. He cut them so that both racks got made into rib tips. He trimmed them and then cut the spares right down the middle. I figured it was only $12 so what the hell. I went home, cooked them like I planned and they were pretty damn good. This summer when I have a party I may have him do that again, nice like snacky-poo.

I thought I took pics btw, but I was already 6 hours of budwesier consumption deep so I think I messed something up. Oh and I spilled ribs and sauce all over my nice work pants, but the stain came out. An eventful eve to say the least.
