its coming out better than i thought it would, couple bumps here and there that no one would notice cept me and i couldnt get those river tiles perfect on the floor, going to see the slight mismatch lines, but its done :laugh:

why not some granite under the sill? you have it returning onto the wall at the left side of the opening, at the jamb. if you put a piece on the wall at the floor (under the sill) it will read "solid", like it does at the lamb. especially since the jamb runs to the floor. you'll have a weird little infill of baseboard floting under the stome on th curb.

shoulda hired an architect. :laugh:

have you priced a door? custom glass door will be pricey. i'm guessing you are all about the rod and curtain

i went with a tileredi pan, seems to be good but havent run any water thru it yet :laugh: i added more water angle when tiling it in so the water will have a better chance draining with the stones

what do you need some fancy smancy architect for, i had leggos when i was a kid. heres what happens when you dont drink during a saturday.................................your guinness turns into slush :ohmy: heres a dilema, took the toilet out to put the floor down, still needs to dry, then grout,then dry, then 3 coats of varnish. maybe a bucket next to the freezing attic shower would be good, the wind blows right thru there, wont need a fan

will be a curtian, dont see me with a squeegee cleaning the shower every morning, hoping the tile color will hide some of the grime

Call me lazy but when I rebuilt after the termite damage bigger tiles were much easier and I hate cleaning grout

call me lazy, but with this shower i wont have to climb a ladder into the attic and pry the soap with two hands out of the frozen ice :laugh: will miss the way it snows overhead when the hot water is on though:laugh: it really is that cold up there, good chance tomorrow the copper freezes solid even with the heat tape on it, mean cold front moving in

frosted window isn't uncommon in older houses... theses are new windows, but i think this is better than blinds.



though at night, with the light on, the neighbors get a show :laugh:

you can always close the curtain if you are self-conscious

so close, ran out of grout :ermm: shower and cork floor done, shower floor maybe tomorrow night. one cork section in front of the sink seems darker, probably would have gotten that way over time anyways, just wish i caught it before :laugh: :laugh: hopefully im done washing grout haze by morning
