Too heavy for raised deck?

Greetings. Wonderful forum with lots of great information. Now I'm in search of some advice. I just got a large egg and am almost finished with the table (naked whiz design). I'm wonderin' if anyone has any experience with putting the egg and table on a raised deck? My deck sits about 20 feet up and I'm concerned about the weight. I have a lower patio area under the deck so I could always keep it there, but not ideal.
Any advice?

Assuming the deck was built to meet building codes, you should be perfectly fine. The weight of your cart and egg are being distributed over four contact points that are spread farther apart than a larger person's two feet would be.BJ (Powhatan, VA)

Not much different than the weight of a person. As long as the deck was built properly no problem.

I had a large and a medium on my late parents house for a year. This deck was minimally within building codes

Love the handle, how are things at Bushwood? Ty still the club champion?
As for the deck - no worries. I've had 9 eggs of varying sizes and about 80 people on my deck along with a full hot tub. -

Post a pic of your egg in the table on your deck when finished.

We don't let you in the hot tub because I really didn't want to see you naked again.

Never mind the man behind the curtain.

should I just give up scratchin' my head and trying to figger you out?

Thanks for the replies, I am just worried that all this work on the table and the beautiful egg would crash down if the deck gave way.
BTW Fidel, actually Spalding is club champ now  -

You mean a raised deck like the one I built?? It will not only hold a large and a small egg, but 50 people too!

If your deck is to code, there's less weight per square foot with you sitting on the egg and table together than there is with you standing on the same spot all by yerself.
(yes that's the truth. And don't miss the critical difference when you do the math yerself. Though there's no math required)

no problem holding an egg up if its built right, there is a problem burning a deck down
there have been fires in the past from grills sitting on decks, lots of towns have rules against any type of gtill sitting on a wooden deck. a few here including mysef have had fires, mine was just the table it sat on, others were far worse. my neighbor lost a deck and part of his house to a gas grill fire as well
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
send me your eggs... i will send you two new weber;s..... you need to seek psychological counseling....if you think an egg will cause your deck to collapse!.... it weighs less than you ( maybe).... nevertheless... the weight is of no significance... even the most slipshod construction..... can support the heft on an egg.... if you're a deer hunter.... you see the slim pickings that hold some seriously fat dudes in tree stands with a few nails....lol...rr
