Doing my first brisket and I am looking for thoughts on putting a rub on overnight or just wait until tomorrow. Any and all help will be appreciated. I am using a mix of Cow Lick and Turbanado Sugar with some Jack Chips for smoke. The brisket is a tad under 8lbs. Thanks again!!![p]-Kevin

    Squeeze,
Sure, rub it, wrap in plastic wrap and into the fridge. Let is come to room temp tomorrow and add a little more rub before putting on the Egg. If you are using mustard, you can add it before wrapping too.

    Squeeze,
People do it both ways. I like to brush on some mustard, rub, let it sit only while I set up the egg and start the fire (only an hour or so). I don't notice a difference when I do it overnight.
