just in case you forgot

made some srirracha rooster/ soy marinade for some tiny maine shrimp, lotta work to peel to cook, seems like less work to cook peel and eat. also fried up some of stikes pancetta and savory bacon for some warm cabbage salad, simmered down some onions and port, dry roasted some walnuts, get this, all on the stove top

all that talk about the cluny got you thinkin? hahaha

looks like a great meal. i thought you weren't a 'salad' guy?

howza pancetta? very similar to the savory, but raw and subtler flavor in the juniper and nutmeg, etc.

is that what it was, the juniper, almost gives it a pickled flavor when you cook it, really good stuff. salads are good without lettuce, not sure if cooked crunchy cabbage belongs in the lettuce group. one pot meal, all done in the wok, pics look like it was done in the egg

let me know if you wake up in the morning. that pancetta looks like it was from the small one, which i suspected of botulism. but i'm 50% sure it's ok

Penalty flag on that there! I'm cooking on the stove tonight too. ;)
Port and onions sounds really good! Are you sure stike's pancetta is safe?

went looking for the sherry, usually some sherry and a little sherry vinegar just at the end. never drink that stuff so from now on its port and malt vineger. only time will tell on the pancetta

i use a nikon d60, little too much camera for me, i like to point and shoot  its good indoors if there is sunlight coming thru the windows but i have problems with it at night and darker days, especially outside with longer shots if the suns not out, next one will have the big digital type zoom built into the camera instead of the type you change lenses with, lense upgrades are too expensive and i just want a pic of food, a fish, an eagle sitting in a tree
