Idea for a Charcoal Chimney
Comments

i concur.... why complicate as simple thing?? rr

Having been a charcoal guy for years, I own and have always used a chimney. When I got my BGE, I used the chimney too.
So many people here recommend the MAPP torch, I gave it a try. Northern tool (up here in MN) sells a torch with an igniter that really makes it slick.
The chimney is in the shed. I'll still use it for tailgating. But I'm convinced MAPP is the way to go. -
You don't need a chimney with an egg..the egg itself acts like a chimney...a starter cube is all I've used for over 10 years..
