quite a contrast from alaska to the rose garden. i have a rose bush that keeps dying. i thought they were hardy, but no matter what i di, the sucker dies and i put in a new one. maybe i have a rare "annual" rose :laugh:

You wouldn't be sorry for making the trip. It's shaping up to be a nice sized group and some serious characters ta boot. Plenty of snow around for any winter activity. Ice fishing is in the plans and snowmobile rental is an option too. The stay is real inexpensive, a shade more than a campground fee, for a very comfy sleep in some great little cabins. that aren't that little.

I was real happy not to lose my Egg when the end of the table blew off the patio in a bad storm.



This one digging out the Eggs was also a favorite. Not many of the neighbors were grilling that day! :laugh:

Hubby and I celebrated our 21st anniversary on a cruise to Alaska. Then home to our garden in Northern California that needed pruning after being gone for 10 days! I needed the exercise after all that eating on the ship! didn't help when I bought the EGG last year - well worth it!
