I must be suffering from oldtimers disease in that I can't remember how long to grill tri-tip. My plan is to cook indirect at about 325. I will marinate in Dale's overnight and then grill for the first meeting of two sets of parents! The tri-tip is about 4 pounds.[p]Thanks in advance for your help and any additional suggestions![p]BillT

BillT,
I cooked my last one that way and it took 1 1/2 hours but weighed 3 1/2 lbs.[p]Keep a close eye on internal temp. Mine was a little more done than I would have liked.[p]CWM

BillT,
I love Tri Tip... I do mine about 400 direct, but i have also been buying organic prime Tri Tip. The only place i can buy it is a fancy butcher. I love Dales, but may be worried about the saltiness after 24 hours of marinade????
