I have this 6 lb brisket in the freezer that is packed in corned beef seasoning. I got it from when I bought a half steer from a friend. I had the butcher corn it thinking I'd use it St. Patty's day like a normal one pot meal. Now that I have the Egg I'm wondering... Can I cook a corned beef brisket on the Egg like a normal beef brisket? Or should I just save it for St. Patrick's and do it as a one pot corned beef meal?

When you smoke corned beef, you get pastrami. Here's my take on this delicacy.

I was just about to post thirdeye's blog. Here is a search that contains many threads on corned beef and pastrami. search

Sweet! Let me think about his a sec... 6 lbs of boiled dinner or 6 lbs of pastrami? I think I'll try pastrami! And I'll let all y'all know how it turned out.
