This is one of my favorite meals... I love Ahi Tuna... Beth places in a mixture of:
Soy
Honey
Rice Wine Vinegar
Mirin
Then seared at 600deg for a minute a side and sliced thin.
We have had this over many different bases, rice pilaf, pasta..
Many types of dipping sauces on the web! Always a great cook!

Except for the avocado - I draw the line there.I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Very nice cook! I love grilled tuna. No one in my house would eat it but me. I cant believe I'm the only fish lover. I can't transform my wife either. She's trying to lose weight, and I keep telling her how I could cook up delicious stuff like this. I just found out about three months ago that I like sushi. Me and my brother have been hitting the local sushi bar rather hard.

She dont even want to smell fish.  I would eat it 3 or 4 times a week if I had someone that liked it as well. Think I should get rid of her? :P

This. It's really easy to make. Just buy the rolling gear and hit your local supermarket and pick up some sushi rice, smoked salmon, ahi tuna or whatever (you won't need much at all. Just a little bit as it goes a long way. Pick up a few things to make some sauce (check online for recipes) and you are pretty much good to go. Don't forget the washabi paste. Seems there is no right or wrong way to make sushi. Many ways to do it. All taste good.
I too just recently fell in love with sushi. LOL. Love fish, but never was a big sushi guy. Now me and the wife and kids hit the sushi places and get take-out. Yummy.
Nice tuna. Love seared tuna. Looks fantastic. -

That looks amazing. I told the wife I wasn't gonna cook tonight, but maybe I will after seeing that.
