How much would the supplies cost? I'm trying to decide build vs buy.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Well that would depend. What size Egg do you have? How big of a table do you want? How fancy are you planning on making it (bare bones wood? drawers? sides? etc...) What would you want to make it out of?

I think mine cost about $170 if I remember corectly..a Naked whiz design..made of cedar, casters from Caster City

I purchased a stainless steel restaurant table on wheels. It measures approx. 30x36, and it fits my large BGE perfectly. I cut the hole in the center, and placed a stainless steel adjustable rack underneath with a 24x24 concrete paver on it. I am in the process of placing folding side tables on it made from granite remnants. The stainless is virtually maintenance free, and I don't have to worry about burning it. Craigslist is where I found my table, and it cost $100. Good luck, there are many great ideas out there, I went with stainless for ease of maintenance and durability.

I'm in the exact same situation. Ready to upgrade from the Egg Nest, but I don't know if I should buy a table or build one.

All depends on whether you have the time/tools, etc to build your own. In our market there are some nice locally made tables that quite frankly are much better built and thought out than the BGE tables. It is easy to add on small bells & whistles which is what I did. That being said, you can build exactly what you want if you do it yourself and save some money. I just did not have all the tools and time.
