Weisswurst, sauerkraut, Austrian potato salad

A quick dinner tonight. Grilled some weisswurst brats and served with sauerkraut, Austrian potato salad, mustard, and beer.

Ingredients for the potato salad:



Weisswurst on the grill (they should really be simmered):

I served with both a sweet mustard and a hot mustard (I know, the later in a no, no.)
I know, I know....you should eat them in the morning and slip off the casing before eating. Oh well, I zuzeln at zuzelning. :huh:

Sure hope I didn't offend any Barvarians in the process. Yep, I broke all the rules except one. I had a beer with my weisswurst.

very nice ,, they just started to carry those pretzel rolls at wegmans ,, but they only had one left on sunday,, now looking at your meal i am bummed that i was unable to buy enough ,, i was planing on a salen's hot dogs in them

Shane, the pretzel bun really raises the bar on the brats.

I don't know what your temps are, but we've been in the lower twenties or high teens the past two weeks with no end in sight.

bill, I just love the prezel buns. They make a pretzel roll as well. Be sure and post your Salen's hot dog.
