If you could only have one pizza peel would you pick a wooden or metal one.[p]Thanks,

New Bob,[p]I have the metal one. But when doing multiple pizzas, the metal warms up a bit and if you have any dough touching the metal (not enough cornmeal etc) then it sticks some.[p]For that reason I would prefer the wooden peel.

New Bob, I know this will sound like I'm bragging - but you know the story about "boys and their toys"...I use a Super Peel for construction and ingress. A metal one for egress and a wooden one to slice and serve from. Sign me "Old Ron Who I$n't Taking It With Him"

New Bob,
I've got a pretty nice wooden one, but given that I'm pretty lazy and what with the wooden peel needing a bit of care in cleaning and storage, I'd probably opt for a metal one if I had it to do over again. Not that I'm thinking about tossing the wooden peel into the woodstove or anything; just my 20-40 hindsight.[p]Bob

Patrick in GA,
yes that is quite a clever invention isn't it?!!! Here's a quick connection to that site.

I use both.[p]Build and put on with the wooden one, take off with the metal and put on the back of the wooden one to serve.[p]Toy Man
