going to cook my first turkey for xmas party at work. if i cook it to get done about 7 or 8 in the morning and put it in a cooler will it still be good about noon. not real worried if skin is not real crisp. thanks for the help.

  • I have had a turkey in the cooler for 3 hours and it was fine when I took it out. I would think 4 hours should be ok. I wrapped the pan and turkey completely in heavy duty aluminum foil. I had put extra towels in the bottom of the cooler and on top of the turkey so there was plenty of insulation.
