Lobster help please

After eating at Red's (maine) and having their lobster roll I've decided to have them for Xmas Eve.
Would like to cook them ahead and freeze. Any recommendations? Freeze in shell? (don't really have that much freezer space). Can I cook and remove the meat from the shell and then freeze without losing a lot of flavor? If I don't freeze them how long can I keep the cooked lobster in the fridge? I know MaineEgg takes lobster to the fests and maybe can answer these questions, but any imput would be appreciated.
