Thighs 2 ways

Had some of Richard's Lemon Peel rub and Smokin Chipolte and tried both out on some thighs - they are mightyfine.

Got the mini the 600 and started skin down
I didn't find the skin down did anything extra for the cook
Next time 400 indirect from the start

Added 8" pizza stone and adjusted vents for 350 - Sauced the two with Smokin Chipolte and hit the other two with a little lemon butter when they hit around 175 and pulled around 185

Lagniappe - Received a 5# box of shelled pecans from the boss. Vacuum packed in two cup packs. Drizzled two cups with two TBS of butter and dropped into a ziplock and shook with 1/2 c of brown sugar. Smoked with some pecan after I pulled off the thighs.

Is that legal? Smoking pecans with pecan? Sounds incestuous.
