Visited the Mother Ship Yesterday! Ho Ho Ho!
Hungry in Lilburn
Posts: 756
Hi folks! I haven't been very active for the past six months. We moved to Oxford,Ga so I am no longer hungry in Lilburn, now I am hungry in Oxford. I am not going to change my nickname though LOL. And my wife and I have been sick. I had two surgeries and she had two surgeries. And I have had pneumonia since Thanksgiving. So all of these are excuses for not posting and my cooking has been seldom and skimpy, such as the occasional hamburger. Well yesterday we went to the mothership to get reenergized! And boy it worked!
They have got all kind of stuff up there for us eggheads. I bought a set of salt and pepper shakers that look like BGEs (my wife said they get wrapped and put under the tree!) I bought my brother-in-law a CI grid for the spider I ordered from CGI. I am going to borrow it and sear some steaks. I bought some more drip pans so I can roast more chickens at a time on my vertical roasters (why did I only buy one pan and 3 roasters originally?) But the cool thing is I was able to give my wife ideas about what else she can buy me for Christmas!
So if you need to get excited about the BGE again just visit the mothership! Or if you need Christmas ideas just visit them. There is a ton of stuff up there that can help with the BGE experience!
