The meats done on the BGE for Christmas this year was one of my best Holiday cooks ever. In addition to the meat turning out so good though , another thing that made it so delightful was that, I was able to prepare the meat from start to finish beginning at 12:30p.m Fri and finished by 5:30p.m Fri. It certainly made for a more relaxed finish as we got up Christmas morning and prepared our sides and finished up with everything, and of course it was comforting to know all the while the Turkey and the Tenderloins were already done and that they turned out great. The hands down winner on the fav on the meat went to Qbabes Coffee Crusted Tenderloin (for me personally it was a toss up between that and the Apricot / Chipotle / Tequila Turkey). This was the full menu and one item was has the raspberry chipotle that several have asked on other post and if your interested I posted on one of those earlier post today how to find a recipe to make it yourself and not have to buy a large bottle at Sam’s that may not get used. [p]· 1 lg turkey breast w/apricot, chipotle, tequila glaze
· 1 lg turkey breast brandy injected
· 2-pork tenderloins -raspberry, chipotle bacon wrapped
· 2 pork tenderloins - QBabes coffee crusted
· 2-pork tenderloins - marinated w/soy, sesame & chili oil
· Oyster Cornbread Dressing
· Mashed pot
· Butter peas
· Corn & Jalapeno casserole
· Mac & Cheese
· Egged deviled eggs
· Broc casserole
· Candied yams
· Kraut (for me and the wife, goes w/pork and yams)
· Rolls
· Pineapple Upsidedown Cake[p][p][p][p][p]
