BGE temperature gauge question....
I cooked my first meal on my new BGE last night (a delicious Tenerloin Roast!) - However I was suspicous about the accuracy of the BGE Temp Guage. This morning I stuck the tip in a pot of boiling water (should have read 212 ish) and it read 250. Is there a way to calibrate the thermometer? Is it possibly defective?[p]I was cooking in New England on a 20 degree night if that matters.[p]Thanks for your help

Why yes, yes there is a way to tweak the thermometer. While holding the face of the thermometer in your hand, use a small wrench to turn the nut at the base of the stem. A little bit should do it.

I have a section in my FAQ about calibrating the thermometer. Here's a link:[p]TNW
