Hey friends-
I'm smoking my first butt on my new egg. The store only had 3.5 pound pork butt. It's been on for about 2 hours now (it's now 6PM) it's holding a 230-250 temp.
At what time should I expect to start taking the temperature on this thing?

start checkin at 5 hours in.pull when it hits 190-200 internal.maybe start checkin one that little in 4 hours.
