How do you prepare an indirect method on the BGE and how do you raise and/or lower the grid? Thanks I'm new.

    OrangeBeachReb,
Here is a link to get you started. It shows an indirect setup.

The one listed below is tenderloin specific.

    OrangeBeachReb,
Using a PLate Setter is the easiest way to go indirect and raise the grid with one swoop.[p]Indirect means not over the coals directly. Some people might build a fire to the back and use the front to represent the indirect area, most people use a pan below the food as a drip pan which is also an indirect method.[p]I've done indiect with like a vertical roaster or V-rack sitting in a pan on top of the grid, but by far the best way is to use a platesetter, inverted with a drip pan sitting on that.[p]Some folks use fire bricks to create an indirect situation, and they also use them to raise and lower the grid.[p]You can also get a grill extender which is another grid that sits on some legs on top of your regular grid to raise the grid.[p]HTH
