Quick temp and time temp

For all you eggers that cooked a turkey yesterday you can help me out! I am cooking a turkey tomorrow morning. I will use a DigiQ II for temp control. 14# bird. I'm hooking the temp probe onto the thermometer and setting the temp at 325. How long should I expect it to cook? I'm gguessing around 3.5 hrs but I don't want to miss by a bunch because guests are coming at noon!

You might be done before 3.5 hrs. I cooked a 21# at 350° dome and that cooked in under 4 hours. You shouldn't be too far off and the bird will stay warm for a while if you foil it or adjust he temperature as needed to reach your done time. Remember to cook the bird to done temperature and not time.

3 hours should be pretty close.Like GG said,cook to temp.But 3 hours will be close.

My Thanksgiving Turkey was finished two hours before we were to eat. Had to cook the dressing and rolls on Egg after turkey. Dropped the whole drip pan/vrack with turkey on it into a cooler and put a layer of HDAF and a towel top of it. When I pulled it to cut up - still too hot to touch and cut.Kent Madison MS -
Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like I need to dial it back a notch. But obviously the bird will stay hot for a while if I put it in a cooler or oven. I might shoot for 3 hrs.
