Hi ya'll, just wanted to tell someone about my two birds although I can't add pictures (don't know how to do yet?). I did two 13lb turkeys on my XL side by side, sprinkled with salt and pepper inside and out, place valdalia onions/sage/rosemary/tyme inside cavity, rubbed half melted butter all over turkeys, place each turkery in a 12 3/4 x 10 3/8 x 2 9/16 aluminum pan (it was tight but just perfect size), place apple smoked bacon over top of bird #1 and maple bacon on bird #2, put birds in XL EGG inderect at 400 for 1/2 hr, turn heat down to 325ish for remaing cook time (appx 2.75 to 3 hours), 15 minutes before pulling birds I melted 1/2 stick of butter with maple syrup for maple bird, and 1/2 stick butter and apple jelly for apple bird, basted each bird with sauce and drippings, also used drippings from both for gravy. I tell you, this was my best ever, no leftovers (bummer). Keep smokin, Dana
