My turkey secret

I found this out by accident. My mom no longer makes the turkey and naturally, since I love using my Egg, I stepped in. Mom and dad live about 45 minutes away so I take the turkey off the Egg and wrap it in tin foil and put it in a cooler, just like I do with a pork butt.

Well, it ends up being fall off the bone moist, like a butt almost. It was a huge hit.

I've fried turkeys before and they're great, but smoking kicks ass.

I use a modified Big Time Barbeque Rub. I've cut way back on the salt and use Hungarian sweet paprika.
