Yesterday was just crazy. I did all the prep for today so I wouldn't have much to do when the crowd got here.

The standard menu for our Thanksgiving is:
2 Turkeys
Southern Dressing
Oyster Sage Dressing
Mashed Potaotes
Sweet Potato Souffle
English Peas
Green beans
Corn Casserole
Cranberry Chutney
Homemade Rolls
Apple Pie
Pumpkin Pie
Chocolate Pie

This year I decided to throw in a classically French dish and a Cajun dish just to change things upa bit.

The Cajun dish was easy, Shrimp Remoulade. The French dish was something I hadn't done in a while and it is very involved and basically takes the day to accomplish. Beef Bourguignon. About half way through the day I started thinking about how cool it would be if I actually finished. I did and the Beef Bourguignon is amazing (well the little tastes that I took were anyway).

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!

Time to light the EGGs® for the 2:00 dinner.
