Mixing watermelon rind w/ATB's?

My ATB filling usually consist of cream cheese, extra sharp and pepper jack, warmed just enough to mix. Then Tabasco,red chili flakes, horseradish, D.P. Swamp Venom,black pepper and???. I think ya got the picture.



After doing a search about the pickled watermelon rinds I found one where they put it in the ATB's. So not having ever tasting it will the watermelon rind go with all of the hot stuff???

Thought I would maybe shred some up and put in the cheese filling mix, If so should I rinse the pickling juice off of them before shredding???

Or any other thoughts???

They are sweet.I think they would be good chopped and mixed with the cream cheeze.Like pineapple,sorta.
