Cocoa powder is a key ingredient in Cincinnati chili. What is Cincinnati chili? It is a midwest delicacy that is served over spaghetti noodles. It is rich and spicy and a little sweet. So good. The only problem is that those of us who are transplanted can't find the stuff. Have to make our own.

Based upon its use in chili, I would say it would be pretty good on ribs. I will have to try it some day. Thanks for the tip.
