New egger

Am psychiatrist and cooking enthusiast(part of my personal therapy..) I was debating building a tandoor or getting BGE and decided to go with latter (in spirit of this forum, I suppose I should just do both?) Anyway, I appreciate all the posts on every question imaginable, especially the perennial one of whether size actually matters (yes, I got the large) and hope to use this wealth of info as I explore using this type of cooker.

Broadmeadow,[p]Hmm....for a long time I nevah knew what folks was meanin by size matters..till I asked poppa..who always surprises me with what he all knows..specially since nevah makin it to the 6th grade and all.....and this is what he done tol me..[p]He says size only mattered in the outhouse..which surprized the majeebers rite outta me..and I done asked him for asplanation..and..so..the next day...early in the morning..he done krept intah ma room and got me..and dragged me out back, behine the outhouse..and we just waited..scared as I wuz to be there I just HAD to see what folks wuz talkin bout....[p]Come round rooster crowin time..I seem cousin Bethilda ..who was visitin us from another county for the summer..come out of the house..her and her small cranium headin right towards the outhouse..yes..folks..she had a small cranium AND she was related to the Stump..it's a long story to tell..so maybe some other time..but from what I gather..there wuz some strange manfolk on my mommas side what liked small craniumed womenfolk..he sure caused a lot of ruckus in the family for that..anyway as we watched...prolly both of us wondering what we'd see..havin not seen such a small cranium afore..and she sat down and did some things what I dare not tell..and she had at least one thing what needed sewin somethin fierce...but as she wuz finishin up her bidness..she leaned way forward..snd gently..prolly realizing that thing what needed sewin looked tender as all get out..she did some last minute cleaning up..and slowly stood up..and left the outhouse..poppa lookin over at me..prolly not darin say a thing about that unsewed tender item..but just looked at me with a look on his face that musta meant.."see...see that Stump?"[p]I don't mind tellin yah I was confused like you read about.. but then...as we watched sistah Beulah come out of the house apparently..in some kinda hurry..runnin like the majjebers to do her bidness..the weight of her giant cranium makin her sway back and forth as she went.but we looked in on her.. as she sat down..showin us some god awful thing in the process..and some 20 minutes later..when I wuz just beginnin to wonder what the heck poppa was teachin me other than our womenfolk obviously can't sew..when Beulah leaned way forward..and with a great bonking sound..her giant cranium slammed into the inside of that outhouse door..causing her to make a squeeking sound..like none I evah heard..but before that nasty sound wuz all the way out..poppa wuz lookin over at me with that look in his eyes..as if he done tought me a lesson..and as I thought about it..I knew he indeed HAD tought me a lesson bout size...seems to me..folks with small craniuums didn't need as big outhouses as folks with big craniums.[p]Mamma wuz rite..some lessons is harder learned than others..[p]StumpBaby

I think stumpbaby is beyond Prozac and Wellbutrin Stage, he needs to take 6 ABT's with the seeds and call Doc in the morning if he is able to reach the phone from the cold creek in the woods..

Well..I don't remember..but I figure when I wuz a youngin..before the cranium got so darned big and all..and started castin a shadow on most everthing I try to touch..I didn't have to use my hands at all..cept for maybe in the outhouse..there are just some things a man can find even in the dark poppa used ta say..and when I looked at Beulah that morning in the outhouse..I think I figured out why we wuz so good at finding things in the dark..[p]StumpBaby

StumpBaby, I have to say that if this new egger is really a psychiatrist and you are really back for any time at all...this guy will probably end up looking up a fellow psychiatrist to help him out here (not just with you, him too).
