  • Re: Brisket - it's about time(for posterity)

Took it off at 10:30 this morning, temp was 192(probe in and out with ease). It's now FTC. Lunch at 1:00. Cowboy preseason game at 3:30, will enjoy with Rahr and son(gravel road). Also just put the burnt ends back on the BGE with some homemade bbq sauce. I'll send slice pics after lunch.
  • How addictive is the BGE

I find myself tonight with nothing to watch on tv(Rangers lost to the Yanks this afternoon). I just want to go on YouTube and watch BGE grilling/smoking videos. Is that sad, I doubt it. I bet there are others like me. Feel free to post any good videos.
  • Re: More than one brisket on a large?

I did two recently(16 pounders) and placed them both on the bottom grate with PS and drip pan underneath meat. They did fine. I was nervious that they overlapped and touched the edge of the egg. People loved them. Somehow everything turns out great in the egg.
  • Re: Pulled Beef Question

Chuck Shoulder? Great guy, knew him in high school. He knew how to party.
  • Beef tongue?

Question - has anyone ever smoked a beef tongue? Looking for ideas.
