Gameday Hoochie Mama Wings
Frank from Houma
Posts: 5,755
Put some wings in the fridge uncovered yesterday. Rubbed both sides with Sucklebusters Hoochie Mama. Took the firering out of the SBGE, put the platesetter in, and stabilized the temp at 400 dome. Added some sugar cane for smoke and used the Woo2 to smoke em on two levels.
Sauced with 50/50 Sucklebusters Spicey Peach and honey. Mightyfine wings.

Do look good Frank.
That has a 50% honey base? Is that the reason for indirect?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd. -
Mickey - Could have gone direct but thought I would go indirect so I wouldn't be moving the wings around so much especially since the wings were on two levels.

Frank,
Great looking wings. Do you happen to have a link to the Sucklebusters products? Or at least know where I can get some?
Thanks,
Roger -
Frank, your wings soooooooo good.
I'm always amazed at the color you get with the sugarcane. One of these days I'm going to get some sugarcane. -
Here you go Roger - I'm pretty sure they are in Dallas. I have only ordered on line - service is excellent.

I like the Hoochie Mama on poultry
Tried their Hog Waller but prefer DPDD, John Henry Pecan or BBBR on pork
I only use sauce on ribs and occasionally on chicken. The Spicey peach was nice but better with 50/50 honey.
He has lots of products that I haven't tried. -
Thanks Rebecca

Nice looking wings Frank. I wanted some yesterday but, we had home made soup instead. Not a bad thing but, I need my wing fix. :S

Frank judging by that colour & glaze the flavor was great

Those look great, Frank. Wings are by far my favorite.
I notice in your signature that you are in Corpus. I grew up there. Went to Carroll HS. Is that the Tigers you are referring to in your sig? The wife and I are trying to get back there, just having trouble finding jobs.
Again, great looking wings.Rowlett, Texas

Moved to Corpus last year and we sure like it here.
The tigers are the LSU Tigers
Better known as the cardiac cats these days.

I was thinking it was probably LSU and not Carroll HS, but ya don't know till ya ask. I have been enjoying the pics of your food.
