Pork Butt Mike

This is the new table Dan design for the small. Dealer we use for the Sunshine State Egg Fest over in Melbourne, Fl.
He did a great job on the table but I screwed it up. I put on the polyurethane on it and it bubble up in some spots. I not sure if it was the humidity or what.

Very nice!

Nice Mike. If you are unhappy with the way the finish turned out you can always sand it down and re-coat under better conditions.Larry

Sand it out and recoat it. Use THIN multiple coats and the CORRECT brush is required. It will be worth the effort. Also, dry or wet sand between coats with 400 grit and cheese cloth.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

The wipe on poly's are by far the best method for these projects nowadays. They don't bubble, go on super thin, even out, dry quickly and you can put on 3-4 coats in a day, dries hard as a rock too.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241
