Mint? This is serrano ham and melon. The photo is from a Widipedia article.

looks like this one, its really minty compared to some of the others ive plantedfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
It looks like a type of mint my dad used to grow in his yard. We were overrun with the stuff.

Yes, it's mint...serrated leaf edges, deeply incised upper surface (noticeable esp on the leaf at center). My OCD eyes see far more melon than serrano: do some diners not get any ham?
-
I'll go with mint too.
But, I can't put the minty taste with the melon and ham, or whatever else is in the picture. -
I noticed that too, lol. I guess melon is cheap, jamon is very expensive. The Naked Whiz

stikes duck prosciutto would go good with thatfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Yep, looks like mint. Replacing a fresh peach for the melon is great too.

Mint seems to be the logical choice. I was a little surprised to discover in the Wikipedia article that the picture was taken in a restaurant in Japan.

My wife and I are mojito nuts. We always have mint. Thats mint.I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike Bar.
-
i'm pretty sure yours are mint.
i still don't know what these are, actually. was in my grandmother's windowsill herb garden when she passed away, and i was the only one interested in hher herbs. it goes great with roast beef, but i can't for the life of me figure out whether it is some type pf savory kind of thing or what.
weird thing is i am always hungrier AFTER i eat something with it in it.
after thanksgiving, where i used it in the potatoes, gravy, and in the salad, i was still hungry enough to eat a two pound bag of cool ranch doritoes. :ermm:
had it with roast beef and mashed the other week. adds a certain piquant "jenais se quois"

The name of this song is 'The Wildwood Flower'
Now 'The Wildwood Flower' is an old country classic
It gained a whole new popularity
The song isn't any more popular
But the flower is doin' real good
The wildwood flower grew wild on the farm
And we never knowed what it was called
Some said it was a flower and some said it was weed
I didn't gave it much thought...
One day I was out there talking to my brother
Reached down for a weed to chew on
Things got fuzzy and things got blurry
And then everything was gone
I Didn't know what happened
But I knew it beat the hell out of sniffin' burlap
I come to and my brother was there
And he said, 'What's wrong with your eyes?'
I said, 'I don't know, I was chewing on a weed'
He said, 'Let me give it a try'
We spent the rest of that day and most of that night
Trying to find my brother, Bill
Caught up with him 'bout six o'clock the next mornin'
Naked, swinging on the windmill
He said he flew up there
I had to fly up and get him down
He was about half crazy
The very next day we picked a bunch of them weeds
And put 'em in the sun to dry
Then we mashed 'em up and we cleaned 'em all
And put 'em in the corncob pipe
Smokin' them wildwood flowers got to be a habit
We didn't see no harm
We thought it was kind of handy
Take a trip and never leave the farm
A big ol' puff on the wildwood weed
Next thing you know
We's just wandering behind the little animals
All good things gotta come to an end
And it's the same with the wildwood weed
One day this feller from Washington come by
And he spied us and he turned white as a sheet
And he dug and he burned
And he burned and he dug
And he killed all our cute little weeds
Then he drove away
We just smiled and waved
Sittin' there on that sack of seeds
Y'all come back now, ya hear -
definitely mint
-
Looks like "yerba buena" ( A type of local mint) to me

When I woke up this morning, things were lookin' bad
Seem like total silence was the only friend I had
Bowl of oatmeal tried to stare me down... and won
And it was twelve o'clock before I realized
That I was havin' .. no fun
Chorus:
But fortunately I have the key to escape reality
And you may see me tonight with an illegal smile
It don't cost very much, but it lasts a long while
Won't you please tell the man I didn't kill anyone
No I'm just tryin' to have me some fun
Last time I checked my bankroll,
It was gettin' thin
Sometimes it seems like the bottom
Is the only place I've been
I Chased a rainbow down a one-way street... dead end
And all my friends turned out to be insurance salesmen
Repeat Chorus:
Well, I sat down in my closet with all my overalls
Tryin' to get away
From all the ears inside my walls
I dreamed the police heard
Everything I thought... what then?
Well I went to court
And the judge's name was Hoffman
Ah but fortunately I have the key to escape reality
And you may see me tonight with an illegal smile
It don't cost very much, but it lasts a long while
Won't you please tell the man I didn't kill anyone
No I'm just tryin' to have me some fun
Well done, hot dog bun, my sister's a nunSteve
