First Cook... Pizza

I got my XL BGE last saturday, that night I decided to do pizza, one cheese and one sausage with jalapeno. We cook alot of pizza at my house, way better tasting, and much more affordable than ordering a pie! All I had was a stone and peel, no platesetter, so I kept the temp low at 550*. soooo much better than out of the oven!

By the way, in this house we don't mind if the pie is not round!

    nice lookin pies...

    we routinely make rectangle pizzas... works well for those who aren't a fan of the outer crust

  • Thanks, the dough is from Fresh&Easy(supermarket) I like to make my own, but I didn't have any yeast, and we had the Fresh and Easy dough in the freezer. Not a bad dough, but home made is better!
