Wife's first cook on her Egg

We finally got the table finished for my wife's Egg, did a few low temp burn ins, and she did her first cook yesterday.
After testing her skills with a few batches of cookies...
She made Sage & Cheddar Beer Bread. She had her Egg set up with Wicked Good Weekend Blend coal**, plate setter legs down, some spacers, a pizza stone and used a stoneware loaf pan.
She had a bit of a temp drop at the beginning (350f) and took about 15 minutes to get it back to 375f, so it ended up taking an hour to cook instead of 45 minutes.
While she did that I made my Beer Cheese Soup on a dutch oven on my Egg.
She did good. The bread was flavorful and perfectly cooked.
**I have had my Egg for 2 1/2 years and have never gotten Wicked Good Coal. We always got whatever we could buy locally. My wife gets an Egg two weeks ago and suddenly she orders 66lbs of Wicked Good? I see how that works. :silly:
